Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know what’s up! I am currently in the middle of a 20 day master cleanse. Today is day 11 and so far so good! I honestly feel weird saying this but I actually have fallen in love with this detox, it has made me feel so good! I recommend it. Just remember it is not a weight loss plan it is a cleanse to detoxify your system. Weight loss is just a plus. Be sure to consult a doctor or physician. I hear from everyone all the time “I did the cleanse, but gained the weight back in 2 weeks sad face,” we’ll you wanna know why you gained all of the weight back? Because you went back to old habits! Of course you will gain about 3 lbs of water weight back but then you will lose it! Once you finish the cleanse the journey isn’t over, it has just began!
Tips for the master cleanse:
Focus on your goal
Know it’s temporary
Don’t cheat cause it will make the detoxifying process not work
When it’s over eat healthy
I mean cut out a lot of dairy maybe only on weekends and cut out that bread, buy some healthy eizekel bread. But none of that 45 calorie Sara Lee bread! Please do not get me started on that!Here’s my diet plan after:
Weekdays nothing processed, vegan, gluten free, and raw
Breakfast: cereal made with nuts and dried fruit and coconut milk
Snack: dark chocolate and sunflower seeds
Lunch: big healthy vegan taco salad
Snack: kale chips (cheezy nacho is my favorite)
Dinner: giant vegan Mediterranean salad with hummus as dressing
Weekends gluten free non processed:
Breakfast: smoothie
Snack: trail mix or dried fruit
Lunch: buckwheat sandwich with avocado, sprouts, lettuce, and tomatoe
Snack: pirates booty, fruit, or tomatoes pesto and mozzarella balls
Dinner: salad and spaghetti squash
Or peanut sauce and tofu or eggplant with almond meal and onions, or California rollsDessert: anything you want (only 1 time a weekend)
